Best sellers are often a great starting place for clients just beginning to shop for floors. Here’s are some of our most popular items from 2023:

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)

#1 COREtec Pro Plus VV017 – This style is our top seller by a wide margin. It is well priced and is available in popular oak and hickory styles. Chesapeake Oak came in as the #1 color in this series.

#2 Firmfit Downtown has been a good seller from the first day we received the samples. Top Sellers are Rutledge and Carriage House. Plus it's made in the USA!

#3 COREtec Plus Plank 7” VV024 – Marsh Oak is the top seller in this style. It’s traditional warm tones work with many decors.

#4 Karastan LuxeCraft Cultivated Wood – a value priced line with the same great features as their higher priced series. Chantarelle is the most popular color.

#5 Two styles tie for 5^th spot. LW Riverstone is a tried and true series. Citrine Oasis is the top selling color.

Karastan LuxeCraft Curated Grain is another reliable choice. Acorn is the best selling color in this series.

Pro Tip

Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) is very popular, and there are a lot of brands to choose from. There is also a wide range in price and quality. We recommend a wearlayer of at least 20 mils for high traffic areas. (The wear layer is the durable coating on the top layer of your LVP floor that protects the flooring surface. It helps to withstand scuffs, dents, scrapes, and stains.) Avoid products with an overall thickness below 5 mm. With LVP, the thicker the better. The locking mechanisms literally hold the floating floor together, and are more effective on thicker products.

Also be sure to budget for floor prep. This is because your subfloor must be flat and should not contain more than 3/16 of an inch in elevation differences when measured over a 10-foot long span.

Patterned Carpet

#1 DreamWeaver Smooth Sailing – this is a loop-cut-loop (LCL) in a linear pattern. Soft and stain resistant because the fiber is solution dyed.

#2 Karastan Greenwich Estate – another LCL, this time in a pin dot pattern. It is made from SmartStrand fiber, which is both durable and stain resistant.

#3 Anderson Tuftex Fur-Ever – an LCL in a linear pattern, this Pet Perfect carpet is made from solution dyed nylon, giving you the best in durability and stain resistance.

Tile

#1 Daltile Color Wheel – subway tile with a difference! Traditional subway tile is 3” x 6”, which is part of the Color Wheel Classic Collection, but our most popular sizes are in the Linear Series: 4” x 12” and 4” x 16”. Great for backsplashes and shower walls.

#2 Daltile Remedy – this 3” x 9” porcelain tile features a hand crafted look and is available in both bold colors and neutrals.

How Much Does It Cost?

We just installed Firmfit Intown LVP in the family room of an Acworth home. We removed the old carpet and pad, moved furniture, and installed new primed shoe molding. The cost was right at $3000. This busy family is in love with their easy care floor!
