It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

We know, we know. Some of you have already done your holiday decorating. But there’s always room to add something, right?

These looks are trending for the holidays:

Jewel Tones and Sparkle

Rich emeralds, deep sapphires, and velvety burgundies are making spaces feel cozy and luxurious. It’s an elevated, sophisticated take on holiday decor that feels dramatic in all the right ways, and when paired with brass or antique gold accents, it gives off this irresistibly warm glow.

And anything that sparkles is in – ornaments, tabletop trees, candles. Go glam!

Bows, Bows, and More Bows!

As trends go, this one is refreshingly simple and affordable to take part in. Bows in any color, material, or size will do and they're a fun way for the whole family to participate in the festive fun. Pick a ribbon or two from the craft store that coordinates with your existing decor and then tie bows on everything.

Handmade Decorations

Needlepoint stockings, ornaments made from handmade felt and wood, decorations your kids make, all give a warm, organic look.

Use greenery you cut from your yard with pine cones and berries. Perfectly imperfect is in.

Nostalgic Décor

This trend started with the reintroduction of the ceramic Christmas tree. Classic nutcracker decorations, gingerbread houses, and candy canes will be adorning many homes this festive season.

Stirring memories of cozy winter evenings, this holiday trend is all about being with loved ones or at least having them with you through these decorations if you are not spending holidays with your friends or family.

Christmas Village Sets

If you are a baby boomer, chances are you have a Christmas village packed away. If not, check out your local dollar store and create your own little village.

And don’t forget about a fun holiday rug. Our collection of rugs should arrive next week – come in and pick up a themed rug and start a new tradition for your family.

As you gather around the table this Thanksgiving, may you be surrounded by warmth, happiness, and the comforting embrace of good company. We are grateful for you and your loyalty as our customer.

I Was Floored By Enhance

Amber in Marietta writes:

“We had an excellent experience from start to end! The knowledgeable staff listened to our requirements and walked us through all our options so we could make an informed decision. They came out promptly to provide an estimate and talk through the installation process. The installers did a fantastic job as well. They were on-time, professional, provided quality installation and took care of our house. We highly recommend Enhance Floors and will use them again for future flooring needs.”

Thank you, Amber. We enjoyed working with you. Enjoy your new carpet!

How Much Does It Cost?

We installed a high end Karastan carpet for Amber, and she has a large home. She also upgraded her pad to the KaraStep Memory Foam. The total was a little over $10,000. Yes, that's a lot.

But don't forget we have 12 months interest free financing. Let's look at the numbers -- if you pay $4000 in cash, and finance the rest, that makes your monthly payment right around $500 a month. That makes it more affordable, doesn't it?

Wonderful World Of Window Treatments

We take our time to trim the tree and deck the halls when Christmas rolls around—so why not spend a moment to spruce up our windows, too? Not only do seasonal window decorations add merriment to your home for you and your family to enjoy, but they offer a touch of holiday magic for passersby, as well.

German in tradition, you may be able to find one of these European glass sphere ornaments at vintage and antique stores. Here, an emerald green kugel hangs from picture wire strung with vintage beads and is complemented with lush greenery around the trim of the window. Smaller ball ornaments dot the window panes.

A series of simple wreaths suspended from ribbons in different lengths is one of the easiest ways to add some holiday cheer to your windows.

To make this idea your own, use a ribbon color that fits your aesthetic. For example, berry makes a statement, while a cream fabric blends into a neutral décor scheme.

Who says your window decorations for Christmas need to involve a classic evergreen wreath? Consider another, longer-lasting material that speaks to the season just as well: silver tinsel. These metallic hoops make a major statement—inside and out.

Tinsel isn't just for dressing up your evergreen tree. Add sparkle to your window displays with tinsel snowflakes. You can use all-white colored tinsel snowflakes to hang in front of your windows to emulate a sparkling snowfall or add pops of color with various festive hues. Use clear or silver thread of all different lengths to stagger and hang them with adhesive hooks for the best results.
